Data source(s) and notes about the submission:
EICCD conducted a survey of all full time, part time, and adjunct faculty in the fall of FY2010 to determine how many courses had sustainability focused/related components. A copy of the survey is provided in the submission for this credit. This survey was one of the tools used to determine informaiton for this credit.
EICCD departments vary at our varying institutions - for example - one campus may have an "English" department which contains composition, literature, reading for comprehension, and other communications courses, while another campus may have separate departments for "English", "Literature" and "Communications". Partly this is a function of the size of the campus and the specialties taught there.
For purposes of this credit submission, EICCD "Concentration Areas" from the FY2010 - 2012 Catalog were used instead of departments. Both Arts and Sciences Concentration Areas and Career Technology Concentration Areas were counted.
