A brief description of the sustainability-focused immersive experience(s) offered by the institution:
* Agriculture-Based Renewable and Sustainable Energy Project: EICCD has partnered with two institutions in Denmark - EUC-Syd and Dalum College of Agriculture on a project which allows 5 faculty members and 10 students to spend a month in Denmark studying agriculture-based renewable energy. This program is currently in it's first year.
* EICCD's Agribusiness and Technology Department programs all include extensive work experience requirements that place students in the agribusiness industry for a total of 34 weeks during the two-year program. The Agribusiness programs include many sustainability-related courses including soil management and conservation, enviornmental science, integrated crop/pest management, botany, horticulture, greenhouse management and landscape design.
