Bleacher repair project: In spring 2021, 14.11 tons of steel and 20.625 tons of wood were recycled from the gymnasium bleachers which otherwise would have been demolished. The wood pallets were recycled or reused by the contractor. The cardboard was recycled using our dumpster. There were two small 6-yard dumpsters (10.092 tons of materials) that went to Willimantic Waste to be landfilled or incinerated.

No buildings were renovated or constructed in Fiscal Year 2021. Newly constructed or renovated buildings are governed by the CT High Performance Building Requirements which are equivalent to LEED Silver or above.
