Department Chairs and individual faculty were contacted in order to compile the above list. A review of their Eastern biographies was also used. Currently, only full time faculty and staff are considered for this inventory.
Total number of employees who conduct research was an estimate based on the previous submission.
The definition of "sustainability" can be found here: https://www.easternct.edu/sustainable-energy-studies/educationandresearch.html In addition, the three pillars of sustainability--Environmental Sustainability (planet), Economic Sustainability (prosperity), and Social Sustainability (people)--were also considered for this inventory.
