Yes

A brief description of the sustainability-focused immersive program(s) offered by the institution:

Eastern offers multiple Global Field Courses every year that range in length from 1-5 weeks, with students applying their classroom learning in the field while enjoying the experience of another land. The course below ran in the spring and summer of 2022.

EES 271: Environmental Earth Science Field Course to Idaho and Wyoming: The Idaho-Wyoming section of the Rocky Mountains is one of America's most geologically spectacular regions and is a playground for earth and environmental scientists because of its geological diversity. The course toured numerous natural wonders over a nearly 1,000-mile route, exposing students first-hand to geological concepts they studied throughout the year on campus. Students developed strong field skills and diverse geological experience.
