The Institute for Sustainable Energy offers sustainability-focused immersive programming in the form of credit internships and experiences for students. Students within the program must complete 120 hours of work related to their major with a focus on a sustainability topic. Students have had the opportunity to research, draft and pilot actions, assist municipalities with submissions, evaluate submissions, and aggregate data for Sustainable CT, a voluntary certification program that recognizes municipalities for their sustainability achievements.
