A brief description of the institution’s efforts to support alternative fuel and power technology in its motorized fleet:

An inventory of Eastern's motorized fleet was completed during the summer of 2015. The inventory included gasoline use and a conversion to GHG emissions for each vehicle. This inventory will be used to assess the most effective ways to prioritize use of the most efficient vehicles, incorporate alternative fuel vehicles into its fleet, as well as to apply for grants which assist state agencies with purchasing and maintaining alternative fuel vehicles. Eastern has installed an EV charging station which is available to the public.
