A brief description of the policy:
Connecticut's Department of Energy and Environmental Protection has established a law that enforces idling reduction. The regulation is 22a-174-18 which serves to target excessive idling of motor vehicles. All forms of transportation should adhere to this state law in Connecticut. Additionally Eastern Facilities Management and planning has a no idel policy
