A brief description of the campaign(s):
Each year the residence hall buildings are measured from September 1st until April 15th. The numbers are compared to the date collected the year before during the same time period. The Hall with the greatest percent decrease wins. Points are rewarded for a campus wide competition. Residents are reminded about the competition. We have also provided a list of energy savings that we have emailed to residents.

Significant energy savings has been demonstrated and since the students can see the direct effect of their actions it tends to make a lasting impression and changes behavior.
