The university provides a variety of sustainability training and development opportunities for faculty and staff. Wellness in the Garden: A Greener Garden and a Healthier You, Kathleen Moore, Sustainability Office, Facilities Management Tuesday, February 8, 12:10 p.m. - 1 p.m. - Basler Center for Physical Activity - Multipurpose Room Learning Objectives: Identify physical, mental, and environmental benefits of gardening for the gardener, community, and earth. Discuss various green techniques to produce a bountiful “healthy” garden. Training provided by the office of Environmental Health and Safety: Hazard Communication; Lockout/Tagout; Fire Extinguisher; Lab Safety; Confined Space; Respiratory Protection; Forklift; Back Safety; Bloodborne Pathogens; Heat Stress; Spill Prevention, Control & Countermeasures Plan; Art Safety Training.
