A brief description of the institution’s efforts to support alternative fuel and power technology in its motorized fleet:

Hybrid gasoline-electric cars are purchased as new replacements become necessary for college OWNED vehicles. Note that a portion of our fleet is currently leased through an agreement with Enterprise. When hybrid gasoline-electric vehicles are available in the vehicle types needed, we also pursue these for lease. Additionally, the maintenance department utilizes electric golf carts when practical over standard vehicles.
