A brief description of the campus climate assessment(s) :
Earlham administered the CIRP-sponsored Diverse Learning Environments Survey in spring 2011. The survey aimed to assess how well we are accomplishing the goals of our 2008 Diversity Aspirations Statement. The results of the survey are analyzed by the Diversity Progress Committee and incorporated into recommendations for actions/initiatives/policies. In the spring 2016 semester we are again administering the Higher Education Research Institute (HERI) Diverse Learning Environments Survey but the results are not yet available.

A brief description of the student diversity and educational equity assessment(s):
The Diversity Progress Committee, along with the office of institutional research prepared the Diversity Progress Report in 2011 to analyze and interpret all the diversity data collected by the college through various assessments. The report includes analysis of student diversity. The report is used by the Diversity Progress Committee in incorporated into recommendations for actions/initiatives/policies. The DPC, along with Institutional Research, is currently updating the information in the 2013 Diversity Progress Report for the spring 2016 semester. These results are not yet available.
