A brief description of how the employee educators are selected (1st program):
Sustainability Ambassadors are actively involved in our Sustainability Committee and serve as sustainability advisors for their departments. Staff and faculty are educated around campus initiatives and broader sustainability concepts and knowledge and take this learning back with them to help promote the Living Green initiatives to those who are not directly involved on the committee.
A brief description of the formal training that the employee educators receive (1st program):
Staff and Faculty commit 1.5 hours every 2 months where updates are give around programs and initiatives on campus as well as in the community. Resources that have been created within the Sustainability Office are distributed and staff/faculty are expected to share this new knowledge/sustainability processes with their departments.

The Sustainability Coordinator is the Chair of the Sustainability Committee and is supported through Facilities Management to ensure staff are informed and trained on new programs and processes.
