A brief description of the sustainability-focused immersive program(s) offered by the institution:

MBA Sustainable Business Practices students and faculty travel internationally to investigate business and sustainability practices from a global perspective. A trip is part of the required Global Economics course that is co-delivered with partnering universities abroad. In recent years, students have traveled to Asia, South America, Central America, the Nordic countries, Central Europe and Central America to investigate global best practices as well as opportunities and challenges in emerging economies.

-2019 Trip to Spain: Focus on the pharmaceutical and chemical industries
-2018 Trip to Peru: Focus on the mining industry
-2017 Trip to Denmark and Estonia: Focus on the digital transformation of sustainability

Duquesne University also hosts a number of "Maymester" trips studying ecosystems and culture in Belize and Tanzania.
