A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the research inventory (including the types of faculty and staff included as researchers):

All assistant, associate, and full professors minus the art and music departments. Intern identified people known in research with the help the ENS Department Chair based on knowledge of which individuals were engaged in sustainability-related research. Within the inventory, the research descriptions were taken from Drake faculty pages on the Drake website.
