A brief description of the institution’s NSSE Sustainability Education Consortium survey results:
Dickinson was one of 16 institutions that took part in the NSSE Sustainability Education Consortium survey in 2015. We had 157 first year Dickinson respondents. Dickinson was significantly higher than other SEC institutions in the following categories:
-Altered your behaviors to become more sustainable
-Went on a field trip in your bioregion
-Our institution emphasizes learning about sustainability.
-Our institution emphasizes understanding local economies and/or ecosystems.
-The experience at Dickinson contributed to your knowledge, skills, and personal development in articulating a vision of a just and sustainable society.
