First-years are required to attend a sustainability orientation session in our auditorium each year. In 2011, the sustainability staff from CSE created a scavenger hunt whereby groups of approximately 10-15 had to find sustainability landmarks around campus. At that landmark, a staff person or intern was there to explain its significance within the institution.
Does new student orientation incorporate sustainability information into presentations (e.g., made by Residential Advisors to individual dorm floors)?:

Our Eco-Reps have a venue with their residence hall at the beginning of each semester. This is where they introduce themselves and how they will be helping to incorporate sustainability in their designated residence hall.
