A brief description of the cultural competence trainings and activities:
DePauw offers cultural competence training and programs. The Women's Center, the AAAS (Association for African-American Students) House and the Compton Center for Peace and Justice regularly host a variety of programs focused on cultural competence and identity.
We also host numerous student presentations and facilitation. Resident Assistant, Peer Mentor and residence halls are all places where we provide presentations on cultural competence, social justice and identity. We also present to staff and faculty on the same issues.
