The Posse Program, A Leadership Scholarship:
We have students from New York and Chicago who have been disadvantaged but have potential to excel and show impressive leadership. These students receive a full-tuition scholarship plus any additional need based financial aid they are eligible to receive. To support them, they also have a mentor who meets with them regularly in addition to a campus-wide support network.

Affinity Groups:
We have several recognized student organizations that serve as support networks and allies for under-represented groups within the student body. Our main student organizations include: The Committee for Latina/o Concerns, The Association for African-American Students, Feminista!, International Student Association, United DePauw and The DePauw Environmental Club. These organizations sponsor events campus- and community-wide.

Our Human Resources department regularly offers training to departments throughout the University to improve sensitivity to under-represented groups and to develop skills in working with such individuals.
