Our diversity office is called the Multicultural and International Life Office. It's mission is as follows:
Multicultural Student Services is committed to the identity development, empowerment, advocacy, cultural competence and community. Multicultural Student Services both supports and challenges the community to embrace the rich diversity of identities and affinities present in our campus community. Multicultural Student Services is vested in the success and development of all students with a focus on historically under-represented populations at DePauw University.
Multicultural Student Services supports identity/affinity student organizations, provides opportunities for identity exploration and development, and offers services and programs to students of color and historically under-represented populations to assist in their holistic development.

A brief description of the diversity coordinator's position:
As an integral member of the Multicultural and International Life team, the director is responsible for designing programs and creating an environment of support and advocacy for multicultural/historically under-represented students at DePauw University. The director will focus on: providing services, support and advocacy for students from historically under-represented communities including: racial and ethnic minorities, women, LGBTQs, and religious minorities; and promoting a more diverse and non-discriminatory campus community.
