A brief description of the institution’s sustainability partnerships with the local community:
DePauw University has two formal partnerships with the greater community of Greencastle, Indiana. Through the Bonner Scholar Program and DePauw Community Service (DCS), our students partner with about 50 different community organizations annually including social service organizations, the public school system and city government.
Some partnerships to highlight include: the Greencastle Community Garden, the Mayor's Office, Greencastle Public School system, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and A-Way Home Shelter.
