A brief description of the institution’s programs that help increase the diversity of higher education faculty :
DePauw has been a member of the Consortium for Faculty Diversity (CFD) in Liberal Arts Colleges since 1999 which is committed to increasing the diversity of students, faculty members and curricular offerings at liberal arts colleges with a particular focus on enhancing the diversity of faculty members and of applicants for faculty positions.
DePauw will have two CFD scholars for the 2010-2011 academic year in Communication and Religious Studies.
DePauw has also participated in Indiana University's Preparing Future Faculty program by hosting Sociology graduate students for a mentoring program since March 2000.
