A brief description of how the institution ensures compliance with green building design and construction guidelines and policies:
DePauw University signed the American Colleges and Universities Presidents' Climate Commitment on September 15th, 2008. One of the tangible actions chosen was the adoption of the policy that all new buildings will be at least LEED Silver certified. We added that any renovations will be at least LEED Silver certified with the personal goal of achieving LEED Gold.
