A brief description of the graduation pledge program:
DePaul University Pledge of Social Responsibility:
The Pledge is a University Initiative that has been endorsed by several areas of the University and is being promoted by the DePaul student group, VOICES.
Our vigilant attention to the common good, to the betterment of our world, and to the sacred dignity of all people, especially the poor and the marginalized is central to the full expression and realization of DePaul’s Catholic, Vincentian and urban mission. In other words, we have a commitment to social responsibility which is deeply rooted in our Vincentian heritage and values.
As a student/graduate of DePaul University, you are invited to sustain this Vincentian commitment outside the walls of our campuses and to make a difference with your personal and professional life.
