A brief description of the IPM plan(s) :
Description -- In 2010 The Brickman implemented an Integrated Pest Management, (IPM) program at DePaul University Lincoln Park and Loop campuses. This program is designed to combine the use of proper cultural practices such as water management, soil fertility, plant selection, manual control through a proactive daily monitoring and communication process along with the minimal use of chemical controls only when absolutely necessary to maintain an insect and disease free landscape. Brickman’s IPM program includes the use of our expert staff, which includes certified arborists, who routinely monitoring the DePaul campuses, along with three plant health care specialists who are available to provide treatments for preventing insect or disease problems as required.
