A brief description of the institution's indoor air quality plan, policy, and/or practices:
DePaul complies with ASHRAE standards for air quality. However, DePaul takes it a step further by controlling fresh outside air make up based upon building CO2 concentration. This control mechanism applies to 25% of DePaul space. The process for filing complaints (through the work order system) is well documented in the Facility Operations Process Guidelines. This covers hot and cold calls, bad odors and any indoor environmental hazard or threat. DePaul has a policy of purchasing low VOC building products, mastics and paints to minimize hazards to all occupants.
