The Denison Office of Sustainability offers numerous lunch and learn and training opportunities each year. These are open to all employees, but generally target our support staff. Topics generally include recycling, procurement, and energy conservation.

Denison has a partnership with LinkedIn Learning. Through that partnership we make work place and professional development training available to all employees at no cost. There are 18 sustainability specific learning modules and numerous other sustainability-related modules.

Denison requires all employees to complete an annual training and certification class on Anti-Harassment, Title IX, and the Cleary Act. This training encompasses issues of bias and anti-racism.

Denison continues to offer a stipend and reimbursement to any faculty wishing to attend conferences and workshops related to developing curriculum around sustainability.
