This data does not take into consideration degree days for these years. Which were 5428 heating days and 694 cooling days for 2005 (July 04 - June 05) and 6026 heating days and 748 cooling days for 2009 (July 08 - June 09). This equates to roughly a 10% increase in heating and cooling for 2009 vs 2005.
