Denison students organize a number of sustainability related outreach campaigns and competitions. RecycleMania, Water Wars & Energy Wars, Trayless Tuesdays, and International Day of Climate Action are some recent examples.

A brief description of the measured positive impact(s) of the campaign(s):
During RecycleMania Denison increased its campus recycling rate by approximately 10%. In the competition Denison finished 43rd nationally and 1st in Ohio. The Trayless Tuesday campaign showed a 30% decrease in food waste and was so successful that the campus moved to trayless dining everyday for the 2010-2011 academic year.
