A brief description of the institution’s methodology for evaluating employee satisfaction:
In 2009 the College participated in the Chronicle of Higher Education’s “Great Colleges to Work For” survey program. This program recognizes institutions for best practices and polices in 15 categories. The program is based upon survey employee survey results and an institutional questionnaire. 400 full time and adjunct employees were randomly selected to participate. Participation was excellent (51%) exceeding the average survey response rate by 10%. Delta received Honor Roll recognition based on the results in six categories: Connection to Institution and Pride; Job Satisfaction; Faculty-Admin. Relations & Collaborative Governance; Professional/Career-Development Programs; Internal Communications and Tuition Reimbursement.
