The sustainability committee is a multisectoral committee that looks into the operationalization and monitoring of various sustainability initiatives of the institution. The committee is subdivided into five subcommittees—(1) Academics and Research, (2) Engagement, (3) Operations, (4) Planning and Administration, and (5) Innovation and Leadership.
DLSL institutional sustainability focuses on encouraging its stakeholders to embrace the social, economic, and environmental impacts of academic and operational policies and processes towards global sustainability. The institution launches programs that promote and practice environmental stewardship, aiming to enhance the well-being of the DLSL community and the region it belongs to.

A brief description of each sustainability office:
The school’s sustainability office is currently under the Strategic Planning Office. It is the institution’s arm in coordinating various sustainability programs and activities for the whole school community. The office is under the direction of the Office of the Vice President for Administration where all related policies and procedures on sustainable approach to school operations are directed. The office has a sustainability framework that serves as a guiding principle where all actions, plans, and initiatives are anchored to.

Institutional Sustainability Committee
The committee is in charge of crafting, planning, organizing, and implementing the various sustainable programs and initiatives of the Institution. It ensures that DLSL has policies in place, standards, systems, and people required to identify and meet the international sustainability standards and agreements aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Furthermore, the committee ensures that the sustainability initiatives are implemented and/or adopted by the stakeholders.

- Spearheaded the institution's membership to international Higher Education Sustainability Organizations–The Association for the Advancement of Sustainability In Higher Education (AASHE), Environmental Association for Universities and Colleges, EAUC, Partnerships in Environmental Management for the Seas of East Asia (PEMSEA)
- Developed Institutional Sustainability Framework that serves as the guiding principle of the school in adopting sustainability initiatives & practices
- Developed and implemented the banning on use of single-use PET bottle inside the campus through the "Conserving is Cool Campaign"
