Has the institution banned or eliminated the on-site sales and distribution of at least one type of single-use disposable plastic?:
Yes

A brief description of the single-use disposable plastics that have been banned or eliminated:

DE LA SALLE LIPA (DLSL) took a stand to reduce its generation of plastic wastes by (1) banning single-use PET bottled water and beverages on the campus, and (2) encouraging all stakeholders to bring their water containers and making use of available water hydration and drinking fountains found all over the campus. The campus has also banned the use of Polystyrene (Styrofoam™) products.

“Conserving is Cool” Campaign Posters to launch the ban on Single-Use Plastic Bottles and Bring Your Own Containers have been posted around campus and digitally circulated through the school's official school media. A campus policy also outlines the guidelines for the campus concessionaire to minimize single-use plastic usage and promote sustainable alternatives.

The Conserving_is_Cool  Campaign is a campus signage encouraging all stakeholders to bring their reusable containers and utensils. It also raises awareness about the campus campaign against P.E.T. Bottles inside the campus.

Also, reiteration memos are being disseminated every Academic year as a reminder for the institution to strengthen the campaign and raise awareness of environmental protection among stakeholders.
