DE LA SALLE LIPA

COLLEGE OF INTERNATIONAL HOSPITALITY AND TOURISM MANAGEMENT

Description:

The Chez Rafael Hotel implements the following practices to support the campus sustainability measures.

Towel Reuse Program- A towel hanging up means the towel will still be used by the guest. A towel in the hamper means the towel needs replacement.

Linens Reuse Program - Bed linens are changed every third day of stay and upon check out of guests. If the guest wishes to have their linens changed, they may inform or call the hotel staff or they may place the “Change Linen” card on top of the bed.

Energy Saving Reminders- Anyone who is last to leave the room is requested to turn off lights and the air conditioning unit. Close/open curtains and windows are also an option to reduce the need for air conditioning. Unplugging of electrical equipment and gadgets is encouraged upon leaving the room.

Water-Saving Reminders- The hotel water supply is heated using solar energy. Everyone is advised to turn off the faucets and showerheads after use.

Plastic Bottled Consumption- Bottled mineral water inside hotel rooms is no longer available in support of the institution’s direction on promoting a sustainability program. A water station alongside the hotel hallway is always available for guest’s consumption.
