De La Salle Lipa - Environmental Ambassadors Reviving Nature Through Hand-in-Hand Service (DLSL EARTH)

A brief description of the student educators program (1st program):

"DLSL EARTH”, an organization under De La Salle Lipa Council of Students Organization (CSO) - Socio-civic and religious organization established for the expressed purpose of serving the ecological students' community, developing leadership skills, and promoting awareness on social responsibilities to encourage the students to contribute in the environment. These young leaders/members of EARTH peers educators crafted yearly programs for the student community, together with other socio-civic organizations student organizations of the school. Financial budgets related to the conduct of the program are set annually through the Office of Student Services.

The DLSL EARTH mentors with and collaborates with various student organizations on the campus where most of the student activities and extracurricular activities are coordinated.

Student Government of De La Salle Lipa (DLSL SG)

A brief description of the student educators program (2nd program):

The Student Government of De La Salle Lipa (DLSL SG) is a community of Servant-Peer Leaders responding to the challenge of leading the student body and student governance, actively participate in its own growth and formation aligned with De La Salle Lipa’s strategic directions: Driving Social Innovation in Education, Championing Social Inclusion and Justice Initiatives, Creating Sustainable Future, and Engaging Stakeholders in our shared mission and utilize all means to help form a student body that is committed to the core values of Faith, Zeal for Service and Communion in Mission.

Among others, the following are other programs and activities that the DLSL SG help to mentor the whole studentry of the school:

Lasallian Leadership Training & Seminar/Leadership Empowerment and Development Program (LEAD Program) and Leader’s Summit for SHS

A brief description of the student educators program (3rd program):

De La Salle Lipa Student Government (College) & Student Coordinating Board (Integrated School), through the Office of the Student Services, conducts the following programs called Lasallian Leadership Training & Seminar/Leadership Empowerment and Development Program (LTS/ LEAD Program) and Leader’s Summit. The program focuses on the virtues of a Lasallian Leader who are the future catalyst of change and social innovators. This leadership training and seminar help develop and/or enhance the qualities of Lasallian Student Leaders and ensure they are well equipped with the training and knowledge they will apply to serve their peers and for the benefit of the various organizations, its members, and the greater welfare of the students. Through this program, these young leaders/peers educators are expected to enhance their skills in terms of planning, team building, communication, decision making, and many more. Financial budgets related to the conduct of the program are set annually through the Office of Student Services.


A brief description of the student educators program’s target audience (3rd program):

The Lasallian Leadership Training & Seminar/Leadership Empowerment and Development Program (LEAD Program), Lasallian Leadership Training and Seminar and Leader’s Summit target audience are student leaders of both the Integrated School (Grade to Senior High School) and Presidents/Peer Members of College' Student Professional Organizations, Socio-civic and religious Organizations, and Student's Special Interest Group. They serve mentors of various student organizations on the campus where most of the student activities and extracurricular activities are coordinated.

Additional programs

KAPATI DRIVE (KAPOTE, PAYONG, AT TSINELAS) - SHS Student Coordinating Board Project

Representatives from the Senior Student Coordinating Board (SSCB) and Student Activities Office (SAO) carried out an outreach program at Pasil, Kalinga last February 19-21, 2024. They donated KAPATI (Kapote, Payong, and Tsinelas) to the 116 students and 11 teachers of Magsilay Elementary School. The outreach program consists of activities for the whole community of Sitio Magsilay in Kalinga such as storytelling and good grooming lessons for children, a self-care session for teachers, leadership training for barangay officials, and the donation program itself. 

The Senior Student Coordinating Board organized a project entitled “KAPATIDrive”, a fundraising activity, to make the program feasible. The fundraising activity involved selling 5,000 tickets to all Lasallians and Non-Lasallians with the primary goal of raising funds for KAPATI.The KAPATIDrive outreach program made a meaningful impact not only to the community of Sitio Magsilay, but also to the representatives of the Senior Student Coordinating Board, as through this endeavor they were able to live out the mission and values of St. John Baptist de La Salle

KASALO is a project of the Lasallian Volunteers which means“kasalo sa hapag at kasamang sumasalo sa isang bagay.”

Kasalo in this context is sharing meals with the underprivileged SOS Children’s Villages in Lipa. Members of

the Lasallian Volunteer shall prepare simple meals for the SOS children by using the net income from the Animo

Lounge booth during the 6 st Foundation of DLSL. Kasalo is an opportunity for the Lasallian Volunteer members to

share in the hopes and aspirations of the children by showing a concrete example of service and communion in

mission. This activity hopes to develop greater sense of Lasallian mission among the members of the Lasallian

Volunteer while also promoting the Lasallian values among the children of SOS Village.

Harbor of Hope Immersion” : Apostolate for SOS Kids

Harbor of Hope Immersion  is a joint effort between the Junior High School Student Coordinating Board (SCB) and the SIKAT volunteers. The primary objective of this initiative is to impart valuable life skills, inspire creativity, and foster a sense of community among the children residing at the SOS Village in Banay-banay, Lipa City. This outreach activity aims To animate the Christian vocation to serve among students and to teach the minds of the students through literacy and other educational and recreational activities.
