Name and a brief description of the active student groups focused on sustainability:
The following are the socio-civic student-led organizations that foster sustainability at school:
1. DLSL EARTH, an environmental student organization affirming that
the academe is the major catalyst of positive change as it prioritizes serving schools
and aspires to transform them into bulwarks of environmentalism by encouraging all members of the school community from the students up to the administrators; from the faculty to non-academic employees to take part in the stewardship of all living things — nature and animals. With this movement, every individual and school must serve as a contingent that would ensure a safe, clean and green environment and would uplift the important role of every being as nature’s steward.
2. Lasallian Alliance of Youth Advocate for Equality (LAYA) - student advocates that support De La Salle Lipa in championing social inclusion by providing gender-sensitive and social justice-based education and by sustaining a safe space for people regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, and sexual characteristics.
3. Red Cross Youth (RCY) - Council of students that work with the Philippine National Red Cross, DLSL Chapter developing among the youth the spirit of humanitarian and social service by giving opportunities to participate in relevant Red Cross activities within the framework of the organization.
