"D-News" goes out weekly to the 1100 employees and has a dedicated section weekly for sustainability news items. D-News is part of a major communication plan for sustainability that involves videos, media features, published books, journal articles and screen/poster campaigns.
Sustainability social sites are updated regularly and metrics recorded. The sustainability office also uses 30% of all internal advertising space reserved for commercial purposes.

In 2023, Dawson officially used the brand "Living Campus - Dawson College". A major branding and PR campaign was developed in 2023 and the logo with QR codes leading to information was placed throughout the college (flower pots given as gifts, pop-ups, outdoor gardens, offices, business cards, email signatures, website, videos, and guides). Screens throughout the college highlight sustainability on a regular basis. A permanent recycling center placed with a two-story sign stating "A Better Planet Begins With Each One of Us" in a high traffic area. 25 large display areas designated for sustainability topics are in all major high traffic areas.

Staff and students volunteer to participate in a Living Campus one hour tour of sustainability accomplishments at Dawson. Once they are familiar with the route and the script, they personalize the tour and offer sessions for other staff, guests and students.The peace garden also has a walking tour brochure. Their is also a Peace Garden walk brochure and a medicinal plants tour guide on line for students and staff use.

Dawson has had a multi-year relationship with DR. Catherine O'Brien who published a book titles "Education for Sustainable Happiness & Well-Being" that cites dawson's extensive work on what motivates action and how one can change their community. There is an entire chapter on Dawson's Living Campus and this is available to all students and staff.

2024 - Tour scripts for external groups - seniors, children, daycares, conference visitors. Script for the tours is updated yearly and distributed to employees that are interested in giving tours during the year. Employee volunteers experience a tour with a sustainability Office staff member and then lead their own tours.
