For internal construction (very small single room renovations), all metal and wires are recycled and furniture that is still possible to use is stored on campus or immediately reused. The tonnage data is based on work done in 2019-20, with large construction container weights collected from contractors. Quebec construction policies refer to the recycling of wood, metal and concrete from construction waste.
