A brief description of the institution’s employee community service initiatives:
As of 2019, staff involved in the Sustainable Happiness Certificate and pay-it-forward project could use paId "work time" to participate in the workshops and develop the final project. Showcasing how being involved in sustainability action influences one's happiness, and by extension one's well-being, has been a profound shift in thinking. Some would not call this volunteer time as the employees were still being paid, but the concept discussed is not to penalize employees who can give time outside of their job description to help implement Dawson's core value of Well-Being for All.
