A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation (including how multiple dimensions of sustainability are addressed):

An eleven minute student produced sustainability video is shown to all students before the "in-House" regulations and protocols presentation starts (2019-20). This video reviews all aspects of sustainability of the college, including accomplishments regarding waste, water, energy, gardening, cleaning, recycling, composting and club activities. As well, students are then put into groups that tour the college. Sustainability points are mentioned throughout the tour (waste sorting stations, recycling for batteries, eye-glasses, ink cartridges and cell phones), rooftop gardens, efficient lighting, water conservation within washrooms, non-gender washrooms, health services (doctor, nurse, psychologist, psychiatrist) for students, clubs (green-earth, LGBT,) and the physical health care facilities and programs (physiotherapy & fitness rooms, sports teams & recreational activities & clubs).
