A brief description of the institution’s main campus and other aspects of the institutional boundary used to complete this report:
Dallas College originally operated as a district of seven independently accredited colleges called Dallas County Community College District. In 2020, those colleges united under a single name in order to offer our students a more streamlined, convenient experience. The seven original campuses live on as our primary locations, Brookhaven Campus, Cedar Valley Campus, Eastfield Campus, El Centro Campus, Mountain View Campus, North Lake Campus and Richland Campus. Dallas College also has 10 community campuses that offer specialized academic and workforce training programs for students. Dallas College is now considered a 4-year level Associate College offering certificates, associate degrees and baccalaureate degrees in specific areas. The first baccalaureate degree is a Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) in Early Childhood Education (ECE). https://www1.dcccd.edu/catalog/programs/BachelorDegree/BachEarlyChildEd.cfm
