There are 6 Pan University Committees focused on Recruitment & Retention (faculty, staff, and administrators); Student Access and Success; Research and Innovation; Curriculum and pedagogy; research and innovation, campus climate, and community engagement. There are 14 faculty EDI committees and 5-7 administrative/service EDI committees. We also have an IDEA Education collective that offers EDIA educational workshops and building assessment tools and reporting processes. 

Yes, the university has an Office for Equity and Inclusion. [https://www.dal.ca/dept/hres/equity---inclusion.html]  The role of Vice-Provost Equity & Inclusion was created at Dalhousie in 2019, and is held by Dr. Theresa Rajack Talley. She is accountable for the progress and continued development of Dalhousie’s Diversity and Inclusiveness Strategy, provides leadership to the Human Rights & Equity Services team, and advises the executive and other administrative and academic leaders on issues of human rights, diversity, inclusion and equity.  [www.dal.ca/news/2019/07/24/dal-set-to-welcome-new-leadership-in-equity-and-inclusion.html ] also for building equity structure and processes, policy and program reviews.

Human Rights and Equity Services offers many workshops on a regular basis that focus on diversity and inclusion education serving staff, student and faculty.
