A brief description of the institution’s green event certification program:
The Sustainable Event Certification is about recognizing our campus community for planning events that reduce our impact on the environment. The program focuses on wastewater and energy reduction as well as inclusivity and accessibility. Any meetings, conferences, or other group engagements held by Dalhousie community members can apply for the certification. Small or large, it doesn't matter! As of April 2024, we’ve certified over a dozen events from over 10 disciplines!
