[https://www.dal.ca/dept/hres/equity---inclusion.html] The new role of Vice-Provost Equity & Inclusion was created at Dalhousie in 2019, and is held by Dr. Theresa Rajack Talley. She is accountable for the progress and continued development of Dalhousie’s Diversity and Inclusiveness Strategy, provides leadership to the Human Rights & Equity Services team, and advises the executive and other administrative and academic leaders on issues of human rights, diversity, inclusion and equity. Human Rights and Equity Services offers many workshops on a regular basis that focus on diversity and inclusion education serving staff, student and faculty. Dalhousie also has an annual Respect Week that encourages respect, diversity, and inclusion through accessible activities, workshops, and safe spaces.
