All waste streams on campus are brought to an on-campus warehouse where they are weighed and recorded on an industrial scale. Waste data is tracked and evaluated for diversion and reduction opportunities. In addition to the waste sorting that occurs at our four bin waste systems by users, Facilities Management staff hand sorts the compost and recycling streams to further minimize contamination.
