A brief description of the employee educators program (1st program):
The Office of Sustainability developed and delivered an Employee Sustainability Leadership Program that had a component of workplace action and peer teaching. The program focused on educating employees on waste, procurement, energy and active transportation and on empowering staff to work with their colleagues to make sustainable changes in their daily work.

The SELP targets Dalhousie employees, including full time permanent staff and short term student staff.

In this reporting period, a Sustainable Events Program was developed which included a peer to peer element with staff teaching event participants about waste sorting and energy usage. This program was unable to be launched due to COVID-19 restrictions.
