A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the research inventory:
A departmental scan of each faculty was undertaken to identify all researchers at Dalhousie who are currently engaged in at least one sustainability-focused research topic. Secondarily, a database provided from the Dalhousie University Office of Research Services was also employed to identify researchers whose current research endeavours correlate with at least one associated United Nations Sustainable Development Goal that aligns with a sustainability-focused topic as defined by AASHE. Researchers from the database from Research Services were verified by checking their research publications shared over the period of 2019 to 2020. Includes FT faculty who are in a professoriate rank and who are tenured or tenure stream.
