A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the research inventory (including the types of faculty and staff included as researchers):
The academic calendar and timetable were used to identify faculty members teaching sustainability courses. The faculty members identified were cross-checked with their departmental profiles to confirm if they are actually engaged in sustainability research as defined by the STARS manual. The inventory was sent to Academic Deans and Faculties for input and verification. The inventory does not include support staff, only faculty members. Clinical faculty members were not included in the inventory as many are not direct employees of Dalhousie.
