The Environmental Health and Safety Office serves as a resource to the university community, assisting employees, students, and visitors in meeting their obligations towards a healthy and safe workplace.

The work place accident number increased from the baseline year to performance year mainly due to the increased reporting of workplace accidents. Also, Environmental Health and Safety Office are in the process of putting together a comprehensive data set to allow for more accuracy of the results
