Methodology for data collection:
Data from Canadian Universities Survey Consortium was used to derive the numbers for this credit. The data covers only second and third year undergraduate students, and is used as a proxy for all other students. 2013/2014 and 2012/2013 academic sessions were used as the time frame.

Further, an innovative program developed by Dalhousie to enable students build stronger connections with the community is DalConnect Certificate Program. This program pairs interactive workshops with community volunteering after which a certificate is awarded.
