A brief description of the program:
On April 1st 2011, Dalhousie entered into a car-share venture with Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Dalhousie members now have access to two “WeCars", a Chevy Malibu hybrid and a Ford Fiesta which will be parked in specially reserved parking spaces on campus. To get access to the WeCars, Dalhousie members will be able to register as members of the car-share program. Enterprise Rent-A-Car’s WeCars will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for business and personal use for a $10 hourly fee.
Once registered, car-share members will receive a membership card with which they can reserve one of the WeCars by logging in and providing their Banner ID. To be eligible for a business membership (ages 18 and up), Dalhousie employees must have a Dalhousie Purchasing Card (P-Card). The P-Card can be obtained through the Purchasing Department. Dalhousie employees can then fill out an application for a WeCar business membership.
